Wow
I have been away for quite some time. I just haven't felt the need to blog, and instead have been spending a lot of time looking inward and writing. We also just moved. Lots of things going on. Not sure if I'm going to be really starting this up again just yet, or if this is just a revisit during my prolonged absence.
My husband and I have recently rediscovered Roseanne. There's a lot of heart and humor to that show. I encourage all of you - esp those with $$ problems - to check it out. It's a great show of American life, tolerance, humor, getting through hard times and more.
My Mom, hubby and I went to see Arc Angels last night. We even got to meet them after the show! It was great!

Squeeeeeeeee
Sylar is the mostest awesomest villian ever. I can never decide who I like better - Peter or Sylar. I will say no more, as I don't want the spoils to leak out of my fingers as they often do. -
Monday Night Heroes!
Ok, who else is ready for Heroes tonight?! I sure am! I can't wait to see what happens. If you are not up to date with the episodes and want to see the spoilers, highlight the text: Will Angela and Peter fix their Mother/Son relationship? Where will everyone hide? Is Danko lulling Sylar into a false sense of security? Will following Danko be Sylar's ultimate downfall? ....I sure hope not, I'd hate to see Zach Quinto leave the show. Is HRG unraveling at the seams, only to meet an untimely demise? WHAT THE HECK IS GONNA HAPPEN?!
So, will you be watching Heroes?

What Hits!?

Well, I do. The hub's thyroid is completely out of whack. He has Graves disease, which means his thyroid was producing so much hormone that he was vomiting from standing - you read that right, standing for 20 minutes = puke! - and damage was being done to his heart since his body was in overdrive. They gave him a radiation milkshake - you Swallow radiation in milkshake form as the nurse watches you while wearing a radioactive-safe suit, not unlike a space suit. You are not allowed to be within a few feet of people, and must steer clear of animals and babies for days, plus you need to stay away from airports. His was so active that he is now in medical journals. Now the problem is that, even though he should technically Not have a thyroid at all anymore, it is somehow still producing hormone. That, combined with the hormone pill he should have to be on the rest of his life - when you don't have a thyroid, you gotta take a pill to get those much needed hormones - is screwing him up. That means he is literally flopping like a fish while he sleeps, and yours truly has since become an insomniac for the past month. For added fun, along with medical knowledge, the good doctor has instructed him to stop his meds for a month, so that we can determine exactly what is going on once the meds are completely out of his system.
Result? My sleeping hours have gone from 11pm-8am to 4:30am-1:30pm. Now, luckily I work from home and so it doesn't matter, but it does make you feel like a dead beat. Not that I am upset with him at all, poor thing. If only snuggles and cuddles cured everything!
Have any of you ever had a problem like that?
